Wall Raising

A few weeks of sunny weather during winter break allowed us to raise the walls of our studio.

This was by far the fastest progress we have made.  In a matter of days, our project started to take shape.

With the bales in place we had to work fast to build the roof.  Our sunny weather was almost over and our giant blue tarp would not hold for very long!

To make the roof we first built a pony wall which attached to the rafters and the top plate.  This gives our roof the proper 3"/1' slope required for proper drainage.
