Plaster, The Beginning...

Before plastering the outside, we installed chicken wire and roofing felt along the toe-ups and top plate to give the plaster something to grab onto.  The wiring is completed and ready for a second inspection!

After 24 hours of plastering over two hellish days, we got the outside plastered with a first coat.  The scratching on the surface is to allow for the second coat to get a good grip on the first.

Each coat has to dry slowly over about two weeks, so we have time to prep the inside and apply the scratch coat.

The windows on the inside are wrapped with blood lath to give a nice curved look on the inside and create big windowsills.  After a final inspection of the wiring and some finishing touches on the mesh application we are ready for plaster on the inside as well.
